Hagia Sophia

Hagia Sophia from my hotel window. (That means "Saint Wisdom" or "Holy Wisdom" in Greek, btw.) This was an original 6th century church built by Justinian, that served as a church until the 15th century, when it became a mosque. In the early 20th century it was turned into a museum, and now has a large collection of mosaics and church artifacts from all over Istanbul. We're going inside today, which is supposed to be amazing. More pictures to follow.
