First Pictures from Istanbul

All I've got so far are the views of the Blue Mosque and the Hagia Sophia from my hotel room window, so here you go. All apologies for my camera shortcomings...

Up this morning, we're heading out to tour Istanbul.






Here's the blue mosque from a distance. Built in 1616, it has 6 minarets, very rare. In fact when they built it only Mecca had 6, so the architect went to Mecca and built a 7th. 5 times a day we hear the call to prayer from here, one of 2000 mosques in Istanbul
